We’d like to thank you for stopping in at Toadstool Design.

* * * A bit of History * * *

The inspiration for our business came as we were designing and building our own home and workshop in
Southern New Hampshire. As we built our home we purchased the tools needed for each phase,
starting with the rough carpentry, and ending with the final finish work.

In 1997 we formed Toadstool Design.
Offering a unique variety of handcrafted items, rocking horses, footstools,
lap desks, candy dispensers and novelty survival kits.

We've designed a unique line of rocking horses,
and novelty survival kits, crafted and patented by Toadstool Design.
These rocking horses and our novelty survival kits are sold only at shows.
Show Schedule
A limited quantity of these rocking horses are produced each year.
We offer each rocking horse fashioned with New Hampshire White Pine,
Cherry, Birch, Oak or any other hardwoods that become available to us.
All our rocking horses are branded with the letters “HRH” (Heirloom Rocking Horse),
which implies they are of an heirloom trait.

Hi!

I just wanted to let you know how much my nephew (age 5) loved his lap desk. He and his family are currently staying with his grandparents and most of his stuff is in storage. He was so excited to unwrap the lap desk at Christmas. Now he has someplace of his own to draw and color and, of course, he loves the dinosaurs! My kids loved theirs too. My son loves to do homework on the floor and now he has an excuse to. He can take his desk anywhere. They'll love using them on the long car rides we take too.
